Homemade Vegan Steak Bites

These Vegan Steak Bites are our favorite thing to use in steak sandwiches, bowls, stir-fries, and quesadillas. They're savory, versatile, and incredibly kid-friendly- all while being made with clean, simple ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Bag Soy curls
  • 3 cups Vegan beef broth warm
  • 2 tbsp Miso paste White
  • 2 tbsp Gravy Master optional, for color
  • 1 tbsp Vegan Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Liquid smoke
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Large skillet

Method
 

  1. Add the whole bag of soy curls to a bowl and pour the vegan beef broth over them.
    1 Bag Soy curls, 3 cups Vegan beef broth
  2. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Drain any remaining liquid using a strainer, then put the rehydrated soy curls back into the bowl.
  4. Add you miso paste, gravy master, vegan Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, liquid smoke, salt, and pepper, then mix well.

  5. Pre-heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add the seasoned soy curls and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
